X-Branches – New Source of Growth in the North
The X-Branches Programme is one of the Innovative Action programmes supported by the ERDF in EU.

The purpose of the X-Branches Programme is introduce a new perspective to innovative actions by developing cooperation between different sectors and regions.

The programme´s project activities are divided into two actions: 1. Cross-Branch Innovations and 2. New Service Concepts.

The aim of the programme is to lay a foundation for new sectors and clusters in the areas. The projects selected to the X-Branches Programme will already enjoy a mutual synergy benefit during the implementation of the projects while joint project meetings will act as a natural form of cooperation between the projects. The strategic aim is to enable the actors to pursue national and international operation and to set up interregional cooperation networks in Northern Finland.
