The main functions of the joint regional EU office for Lapland, the Oulu Region and Central Ostrobotnia Region, "North Finland EU Office", is to represent the regions in Brussels, at the heart of the EU, to communicate and maintain contacts with EU and other European actors, and to transfer the benefits arising from this international communication network to its own regions, in order to support their economy and improve living conditions for their inhabitants.
