Common to South Savo, North Savo, North Karelia, North Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, Kainuu and Lapland are, among other things, long distances, sparsely populated areas and long international land borders with our neighbouring countries. The Advisory Board for Eastern and Northern Finland is a cooperative body established to deal with matters common to the provinces of the region. In addition to the regional councils, the network also includes regional parliamentarians. The communicators of the Regional Councils of Eastern and Northern Finland also work closely together in advocacy and advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
