Visits to educational institutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can request an EU information point to visit a school or educational institution. Visits are arranged either remotely or on site, according to your wishes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visits with educational institutions can take the form of EU-related lessons, presentations and workshops. The EU Info Point can also be invited to participate in events organised by educational institutions, either to organise a programme or to host an EU Info Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The North Ostrobothnia EU Information Point is interested in cooperation with young people, so you can also suggest other possible forms of cooperation for us! Feel free to contact us and let's think about a suitable form of implementation together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yooki's adventures provide basic information about the EU for primary school-age children<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Council of the EU has published a new free education package designed to be used in primary school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The material is intended for schoolchildren between the ages of 7 and 9 and provides basic information about the EU through the adventures of the young firefly Yook. It also includes fun activities to help students explore concepts such as peace, compromise and conflict resolution and learn more about the role of the Council of the EU and the European Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
