Thanks to cross-border cooperation, the cultural heritage of power plant construction in northern rivers will be clarified, promoted and the identity of local communities strengthened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project will be implemented in cooperation between Northern Ostrobothnia and Norrbotten stakeholders 1.1. 2019-30.9.2022. The Regional Assembly of Oulu Region is the main implementer of the project and the other implementer of the Region Norrbotten.\u202fThe cooperation partners include the Kainuu Regional Regional Assembly, the Museum of Finnish Architecture, the University of Oulu, the museums of Norrbotten, Kainuu and Northern Ostrobothnia, the energy companies of the region (Oulun Energia, Fortum Power and Heat Oy, Kainuun Voima Oy, Loiste Oy, UPM-Kymmene Oyj, Vattenfall), Kainuun Nuotta ry, Mets\u00e4hallitus, Rokua UNESCO Global Geopark, VisitFinland, village and local Regional Regional Assemblys, as well as municipalities of waterways, their upper secondary schools and educational decision-making bodies.
