Welcome to the Mining Smart Specialisation Partnership event in Oulu or remotely!

The event will inform operators in the region about the Mining Smart Specialisation Partnership in Europe, to which North Ostrobothnia has joined. You will learn the perspectives of national and regional actors on the opportunities brought about by the clean transition and internationalisation in the extractive sector. Representatives of the Province of Lapland, Business Joensuu, Radai and the University of Oulu will speak at the event. At the event, it will be possible to network with actors in the field and at the same time we will map out the actors in Northern Ostrobothnia who are interested in partnership and networking at EU level.
The event is co-organised by the University of Oulu and the Kanves project of the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia. The event, which is open to all and free of charge, will be held in a hybrid format. Welcome to the premises of the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia in Oulu (Poratie 5A) or join us online.
