Decisions made by officials are notified by publishing them on the website of the Council of Oulu Region.
According to the Local Government Act, the decisions of municipal and joint municipal authority officials must be available on the public website. The annexes to the decisions containing confidential information shall not be published.
A person dissatisfied with the decision may request rectification. In principle, the right to request rectification belongs to the person to whom the decision is addressed or whose right, obligation or interest is directly affected by the decision (the party concerned), as well as to a member municipality and a resident of a member municipality. The period for requesting rectification and its expiry date, as well as more detailed instructions, are provided in connection with the decision.
