Welcome to the Accessibility Statement of the Regional Assembly of Northern Ostrobothnia
This accessibility statement applies to the service www.pohjois-pohjanmaa.fi and has been updated on 12 January 2026. The service is governed by the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), which requires public online services to be accessible.
The accessibility of the service has been assessed by the Regional Assembly’s communications and information management staff. The technical changes have been implemented by Verkkoasema Oy.
Technical accessibility issues (e.g. font, contrast, broken links, tag page title, typos, dialects, image files, videos, old documents, etc.) were updated in May 2024. The accessibility gaps identified since then have been remedied in October 2025.
The font used on our website is Signika Negative.
Accessibility status of the digital service
The website of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region has been built in accordance in cooperation in cooperation with the WCAG 2.0 criteria at AA level and largely meets the accessibility requirements of the Act.
