Financial workshops in spring 2023
A good set of four workshops is now available for international financial information. The funding workshops are aimed at all actors in Northern Ostrobothnia who are interested in funding the Horizon Europe programme and the application process.
Theme Bioeconomy and match making 18.4. at 9-13, Oulainen or remotely
Come and get acquainted with the international EU funding opportunities related to the bioeconomy, showcase your organisation and network with project operators in Northern Ostrobothnia!
The following sources of EU funding will be reviewed in the morning:
- Horizon Europe:‘Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment’
- Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking
- Interreg programmes and the bioeconomy
The workshop is aimed at all actors in the Northern Ostrobothnia region who are interested in:
- Get information on international funding opportunities and projects related to the bioeconomy
- Showcase your organisation, projects and project ideas to other participants and/or find partners and opportunities for projects
- In connection with the registration, you can tell about the project themes for which you would like more information about funding opportunities, as well as your interest in presenting your organisation or project ideas related to the themes of the workshop, or ongoing projects, for example.
The workshop is co-organised by the ERDF-funded Kanves project and Oy Culmentor Ltd. The workshop is led by Oy Culmentor Ltd.'s EU funding expert Heidi Honkanen, who has 18 years of experience in implementing international EU projects and applying for funding.
The event, which is open to all and free of charge, will be arranged in a hybrid way, so that you can participate in Oulainen (Oulainen Business House, Revonkatu 1, auditorium) or remotely. You can participate in the whole workshop or parts of your choice.

10:15-11:15: Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking and Interreg programmes
11:15-11:30: Break
11:30-13:00: Networking session first jointly and then in separate Teams rooms
Presentations of organisations, project ideas and/or projects (5-10 min / presentation) and networking
