The 8th call for applications for the AKKE grant has ended

Funding was requested for AKKE projects that focus on supporting regional RDI activities. Projects funded under this call should meet at least one of the following criteria: - the project supports research, development and innovation activities of SMEs and thus improves the innovation capacity of SMEs - the project strengthens the innovation ecosystem of the region - the project expands the number of parties involved in RDI activities The maximum amount available to fund projects received in the application round is EUR 448 000. The total number of project applications was 14 and the total amount requested was approximately EUR 950 000.

Funding is being applied for AKKE projects that focus on supporting regional RDI activities

AKKE - Call opens in December

The funding for supporting the sustainable growth and vitality of the regions (AKKE) will be used, in accordance in cooperation with the decisions of the regional Regional Assemblys, for projects promoting the implementation of the regional programme and the Government's regional development decision. This funding may be used, for example, for small-scale development, experimentation and study projects based on regional strengths and specialisation. The fourth application round for AKKE (Regional Fund for Sustainable Growth and Vitality) is open from 1 December 2021 to 31 January 2022. Read more here !

New projects financed under the "Sustainable growth and vitality of regions" (AKKE) envelope

AKKE - second round of applications closed on Friday 22 January 2021

The application period for funding for sustainable growth and vitality in the regions ended on Friday 22 January 2021. On 22 January 2021, the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia closed its call for applications for funding for sustainable growth and vitality in the regions (AKKE). Applications were received by the deadline of 14. The amount of aid applied for in the applications is € 477 282. Applications will be processed immediately. The second application round for AKKE funding opens on 7 December 2020

Two specific priorities are identified in this call for applications: 1) increasing the ability of regional and regional actors to apply for funding from the EU's international funding channels and the ability to network internationally, and 2) funding can be directed to measures to correct disturbances and structural changes that increase the region's competitiveness and economic well-being. First AKKE - Programme Financing Decisions Completed

Applications for funding under the first call for applications under the "Sustainable growth and vitality of regions" (AKKE) envelope have been processed. A total of EUR 150 896.34 has been granted for five development projects. The decisions have been forwarded to the applicants.
