Current project presentations
The regional cooperation group was given two topical project presentations. The first concerned the arrangement of the junction area of Highway 8/road 771 (Satamatie) and the improvement of mt 7771 by constructing a pedestrian route to Kalajoki between Kokkolantie and Usvametsäntie. Another project presented was the builders of well-being at work.
External evaluation of the Regional Programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2022-2025
An external evaluation of the Regional Programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2022-2025 was presented to the regional cooperation group. The evaluation was carried out in cooperation in cooperation in cooperation with the regions of Northern Finland and Owal Group Oy, which carried out the evaluation. The external evaluation of the regional programme is part of the statutory process of implementing the regional programmes. The objective of the evaluation is to obtain information on the implementation and effectiveness of the programme and, in particular, to provide recommendations and views for the preparation of the future regional programme.
The evaluation started in spring 2024 in cooperation in cooperation with background material analysis and expert interviews. In the next phase, an electronic survey was conducted to collect data and views from stakeholders, target groups and beneficiaries on the priorities, objectives, implementation and impact of the regional programme, as well as on the future development of the region. In addition, regional remote workshops and a joint regional development workshop were carried out.
In particular, the evaluation provides information on the effects of the changed business environment on the implementation of regional programmes. The steering effects of the regional programme and the functioning of the networks related to the implementation of the programme will also be examined in the evaluation. The evaluation is related to the start of the preparation of the regional programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2026-2029.
regional cooperation group supports eight projects to be funded under the Renewable and Skilled Finland 2021-2027 programme
The regional cooperation group discussed ten projects at its meeting. Of these, it advocates funding eight projects. Two projects received a negative decision. The projects have been presented by the regional Cooperation Group the Agenda.
