Call notices and deadlines and application status of the Renewable and Skilled Finland 2021-2027 programme
The application period for the North Ostrobothnia ELY Centre's operating environment development grant in Northern Finland is 1.9-31.10.2025. In the Northern Ostrobothnia, Lapland and Kainuu call, a total of EUR 1.1 million can be awarded for specific objectives 2.2 and 2.3. A maximum of EUR 620 000 of funding may be allocated to Specific Objective 2.2.
The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Northern Ostrobothnia has received eight applications for the Renewable and Skilled Finland 2021-2027 programme by 5 June 2025. Nearly EUR 1.8 million has been applied for support in applications submitted to the JTF continuous application process related to employment and skills.
The application period for business development grants from the North Ostrobothnia ELY Centre in North Ostrobothnia is open from 13 January to 30 November 2025. By the end of June, a total of 57 applications for business development grants have been received. The total amount of grants requested is EUR 6 947 969.
The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Northern Ostrobothnia can also apply for business development grants as JTF funding from 13 to 30 November 2025. By the end of June, a total of 13 applications for JTF funding have been received, totalling EUR 5 305 569.
The third call for applications for research and development projects by SMEs and the use of new technology in Northern Finland was from 5 May to 8 August 2025. A total of three applications were received for this call, for which a total grant of EUR 198 759 was requested.

The Secretariat of the Provincial Cooperation Group discussed 16 projects at its meeting. Of these, it supports the funding of 15 projects. One project received a negative decision.
