Regional Youth Regional Assembly meeting press release, election of the chairperson postponed
On 13 April, the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Youth Regional Assembly held an organizing meeting through Teams.
Due to the remote meeting, the election of the President of the Regional Youth Regional Assembly was postponed to the next meeting after two persons had registered as candidates for the chair. According to the Regional Youth Regional Assembly's rules of procedure, voting in individual elections takes place by a closed ballot as a majority vote.
Ilpo Tapaninen from the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region was elected as the Secretary of the Regional Youth Regional Assembly.
The Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Youth Regional Assembly had a lively discussion on communications and elected its members to the Communications Group. The social media guidelines prepared in cooperation with the support of the POPnuva project and the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region were approved.
