Northern Ostrobothnia Prosperity Act award to the City of Pyhäjärvi
The Regional Assembly of Oulu Region has granted the Northern Ostrobothnia Welfare Act 2021 recognition to the City of Pyhäjärvi for investing in the well-being economy. Promoting well-being, health and safety has been strongly emphasised in Pyhäjärvi in the focus areas of the municipal strategy.The City of Pyhäjärvi invests in well-being and the investments are seen as strategic long-term investments that have already produced results. The city has developed Pyhäjärvi's own model for promoting well-being and health, the Pyhäjärvi model.“Our city has a wide range of communities and volunteers who, through their own activity, have made cooperation visible. The ombudsman's extensive activities have been an excellent link, which has enabled all the city's industries to promote well-being together in cooperation in cooperation with the citizens of the municipality", says Tuija Vanha-aho, Director of Welfare at Pyhäjärvi vs.The model of promoting the well-being and health of Pyhäjärvi has been well received by the city residents. The recognition was received by Tuija Vanha-aho, the City of Pyhäjärvi's vs. Wellbeing Director, and Jukka Lehtosaari, formerly the City's Wellbeing Director. The award was presented by Leena Pimperi-Koivisto, Chairman of the Northern Ostrobothnia Welfare Cooperation Group, and Ilpo Tapaninen, Director of Planning at the Regional Assembly of Northern Ostrobothnia.
