Creativity for Vitality webinar and workshop
The webinar series of the Northern Ostrobothnia Culture Development Programme will continue on 2 December 2020 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the theme "Creativity and art: vitality for Northern Ostrobothnia". With provincial artist Krista Petäjäjärvi from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland and creative professionals from the project "Creativity in Glass House".
- Climate change, coronavirus, mental health problems, urbanisation, an ageing society, inequality…. Finland's challenges in the 2020s are big and complex. What role does art and creativity play in this equation and development?
- How can art in practice be a part of the everyday life of different communities, how can the artist's expertise be transferred to working life organisations and what kind of effects does this have?
- Why is this topical and important right now?
- What does all this mean for North Korea?
Questions for the webinar Regional artist Krista Petäjäjärvi works to promote the artist's expertise and intermediary activities, as well as art as part of organisations (TOO) in the field of strengthening thinking.
North Ostrobothnia's perspective on the webinar Creativity in a glass house -Creative professionals involved in the training and art project. The aim of the project is to clarify and diversify the role of art and artist in society and to open up opportunities to be involved in creating growth, well-being and vitality for regions, people and companies. Artworks created in the creative process in Oulu, Pudasjärvi and Taivalkoski. How have the goals materialised, what ideas have arisen for different parties, and what should be done in the future to make art a stronger part of vitality?
A slick workshop part of the webinar offers participants the opportunity to network, discuss the theme of the day and bring their views on it into the preparation of the cultural development programme.
