Result seminar on the climate impacts of wind and solar power production
Welcome to the EMMI Results Seminar of the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia Wed 28.2.2024 9:00-10:00!
The event will hear about the climate impacts of wind power production and electricity transmission in the regional energy and climate phase plan of Northern Ostrobothnia, as well as about the climate impacts of solar power production in general. The analysis takes into account the climate impacts caused by the projects throughout their life cycle, taking into account changes in land use. The results show both positive and negative climate impacts. What impact do renewable energy projects have on emissions in the energy sector, but also on forest carbon sinks and storages?
