Opening JTF searches
The Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia and the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre) have prepared a continuous application period for the JTF for 2023 with application dates of 31 March, 31 August and 30 November. The days are the same for the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia, the ELY's ERDF and ESF-type development projects, as well as the ELY's operating environment support projects (TYT) and business networked research projects. There is a continuous search for business subsidies. The Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia has prepared the JTF application process for Northern Finland together with the Regional Council of Lapland and the Regional Council of Kainuu.
Corporate Finance Strategy and Policy (JTF) of the Financing Unit of the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Northern Ostrobothnia
The corporate finance strategy has been drawn up to be used in the evaluation of grant applications and to support decision-making in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia for projects funded by the Just Transition Fund. The publication of the strategy increases the transparency of decision-making and facilitates the work of those planning to apply for a grant. In addition, the strategy will improve coordination between national business support funding and regional development fund and EAFRD business support in Northern Finland. The strategy will be submitted to the provincial cooperation group for approval.

The project seeks an innovative approach to the design and implementation of lighting in urban environments. The aim is to optimise the use of low illuminance levels with design solutions that are researched in terms of their correctness and impact, combined with intelligent light control technology. The goal is an energy-efficient and ecological dark-time urban environment and culture that supports the well-being of people and nature.
