Implementation of the financial and operational objectives of the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia
The provincial government is given a report three times a year on the realisation of the economic and operational objectives of the union.
Actions of the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia's internationalisation and networking project
In line with the strategy, the project aims to strengthen advocacy, increase functional ecosystems in the province, strengthen networking with European smart specialisation platforms and activate the province's networking. The cost estimate for the project is EUR 265 946, of which the self-financing contribution of the Regional Council of North Ostrobothnia is EUR 79 783. The Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia appointed Eija-Riitta Niinikoski as its own representative in the steering group of the project.
Northern Ostrobothnia's Future Steps project
The Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia is applying for regional development funding for the Northern Ostrobothnia Future Steps project. The project makes it possible to work on the prospects for the future of the county and develops interaction models and processes for the preparation of the county programme 2022-2025. The estimated cost of the project is EUR 28,570, of which the Regional Council of North Ostrobothnia's own contribution is EUR 8,570.
Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia spatial solutions
The lease agreement of the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia with Technopolis has been terminated on 31 July 2021. Preparations for the new premises have continued at the Agency, and the Provincial Government received a progress report on this. The management of the Agency was given a mandate to continue the preparations.
In brief
- The provincial government took note of the final report of the implementation project for financial and human resources management services. The aim was to transfer the service production of the financial and human resources management of the Regional Council of North Ostrobothnia to Monetra Oulu Oy in a controlled manner and to support the broader change in the organisation of financial and human resources management carried out in the organisation of the Regional Council of North Ostrobothnia.
