Regional Assembly of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region meeting release 13.12.2021
The Regional Assembly of Oulu Region met on 13 December and approved the Regional Programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2022-2025 and the Economic and Operational Plan of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region for 2022-2024. In addition, the Presidium of the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Youth Regional Assembly was granted the right to attend and speak at the meetings of the Regional Assembly.
Regional Programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2022-2025 you acceptiin
The Regional Assembly approved the regional programme for Northern Ostrobothnia for 2022-2025. The plan seeks new thinking for regional and national regional development. The programme focuses on phenomena and themes that are important for the development of Northern Ostrobothnia. This aims to be flexible, proactive and quick to react to changes around us.
The programme describes the guidelines for practical measures that will guide regional development and the allocation of regional funding for the next four years.

“The regional agenda shows that we are a region of well-being and active people that is attractive and sustainable to grow nationally and internationally,” Tapaninen says.
Adoption of the Economic and Action Plan 2022-2024
The Regional Assembly approved the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region's economic and operational plan for 2022-2024 and the budget for 2022. The operating revenue of the 2022 budget, amounting to EUR 5 421 060, has decreased by 3,3 % compared to the 2021 budget. Operating costs amount to EUR 5 417 000, a decrease of 3.3% compared to the previous year's budget. The members' contributions will remain unchanged in accordance in cooperation in cooperation with the 2021 contributions. The result for the financial year, after depreciation in the budget year, is EUR 0.

Amendments to the Rules of Procedure
The Regional Assembly approved amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region to grant the Presidium of the Regional Regional Youth Regional Assembly of Northern Ostrobothnia the right to attend and speak at the meetings of the Regional Assembly, and to assign the responsibility for managing the contracts of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region to the Director of Administration and Human Resources.
