Young people from the Barents region gather to discuss the future of Europe on 30 November

 

Young people from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia will meet in Oulu on Tuesday 30 November to discuss the European Union and the future of Europe.

The event is part of the We Are Europe tour and it is organised in cooperation with the Prime Minister's Office, the City of Oulu, the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Finnish Presidency of the Barents Euro-Arctic Council. The aim of the event is to hear young people's views on the future of the EU. At the same time, it is part of the Conference on the Future of Europe.

In Oulu, we want to focus especially on the views of young people in the Barents region on the future of the EU. The aim of the Oulu event is to gather young people and young people's views on the territory of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia.

Tuppurainen invites those interested in the EU to talk to Oulu

Minister for European Affairs Tytti Tuppurainen invites the people of Oulu to have "Europe is us" coffees when the Government's ministerial tour arrives in Oulu on Tuesday 30 November. The event will take place at Oulu Cultural Centre Valve's H20 Konstila café from 15:30 to 16:30.
