Trainings from the Cultural Bank in December
Five remote training sessions will be organised on the Cultural Bank's online service during December. Two of the trainings are related to lyrics of one's own competence and three to productization. All training sessions also include the introduction training and discussion section of the Cultural Bank in addition to the theme speakers. The aim of the trainings is to increase the competence of cultural and artistic operators and the prerequisites for joining the Cultural Bank. They can be easily found and ordered from the Cultural Bank. The service expanded from Pirkanmaa to nationwide this autumn. Cultural Bank expands to Northern Ostrobothnia - service opens in autumn 2025
Kulttuuripankki on valtakunnalliseksi laajeneva verkkopalvelu, joka kokoaa yhteen taiteen ja kulttuurin ammattilaiset sekä heidän tarjoamansa palvelut. Syksyllä 2025 palvelu laajenee myös Pohjois-Pohjanmaalle, ja silloin mukaan ovat tervetulleita kaikki alueen taide- ja kulttuuritoimijat. Palvelu sai alkunsa Pirkanmaalta, ja sitä on kehuttu laajasti eri puolilla Suomea. "Pirkanmaan Kulttuuripankkia on ihasteltu ja sen kaltaista palvelua on aktiivisesti toivottu myös Pohjois-Pohjanmaalle. Nyt onkin ilo ilmoittaa tämän toteutuvan juuri ennen Euroopan kulttuuripääkaupunkivuoden avajaisia," toteaa erityisasiantuntija Auli Suorsa Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liitosta. Pohjois-Pohjanmaalla Kulttuuripankin alueellisesta ylläpidosta, viestinnästä ja rahoituksesta vastaavat Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liitto ja Oulun kaupunki yhteistyössä. Kulttuuripankki on organisaatioilta panostus Oulu 2026 kulttuuripääkaupunkivuoteen ja luovien alojen kehittämiseen. Kulttuuripankki lisää tekijöiden näkyvyyttä ja työmahdollisuuksia sekä tarjoaa yhdenvertaisen alustan eri taiteenaloille. Palveluun voivat rekisteröityä ammattimaiset taiteen ja kulttuurin tekijät. Kukin voi luoda oman profiilin ja lisätä sinne tilattavia palveluita, kuten työpajoja, esityksiä tai koulutuksia. Palvelun käytöstä tullaan tiedottamaan syksyn aikana laajasti ja järjestämään info- ja koulutustilaisuuksia eri yhteyksissä. Palvelu on siihen sisältöä tuottaville taiteen ja kulttuurin tekijöille maksuton. Tilaajat – kuten kunnat, koulut, hoivayksiköt, yritykset, tapahtumatuottajat ja myös yksityiset ihmiset – voivat etsiä ja tilata itselleen sopivia palveluita helposti Kulttuuripankin kautta. Valtakunnallisesti tavoitteena on koota palveluun noin 6 000 tekijäprofiilia, 4 000 tilattavaa palvelua ja 1 000 rekisteröitynyttä tilaajaa. Palvelun laajennukseen osallistuu kaikkiaan 14 maakuntaa eri puolilta Suomea. Kulttuuripankki ei ole vain verkkopalvelu, vaan sen myötä on jo syntynyt valtakunnallinen luovan alan kehittäjäverkosto. Siinä ovat mukana maakuntien liitot ja keskuskaupungit. Palvelu tukee erityisesti kuntien, maakuntien, hyvinvointialueiden ja elinvoimapalveluiden välistä yhteistyötä. Samalla se vahvistaa pienempienkin kuntien mahdollisuuksia toteuttaa lakisääteistä tehtäväänsä ammattimaisen taidetoiminnan tukemisessa. Kulttuuripankin laajennustyötä koordinoi Tampereen kaupunki. Verkkopalvelun teknisestä ylläpidosta vastaa toukokuusta 2025 alkaen Red & Blue Oy. Rahoituksen laajentamiseen on myöntänyt Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, ja se tulee EU:n elpymis- ja palautumistukivälineestä (RRF, Recovery and Resilience Facility). Cultural Bank expands to Northern Ostrobothnia
A grant of EUR 300,000 has been granted for the further development and expansion of the Pirkanmaa Cultural Bank online service launched at the beginning of 2023 from the Ministry of Education and Culture's structural support for the renewal of the cultural and creative sectors. As a result of the grant, the service will be extended to eight other regions in addition to Pirkanmaa. North Ostrobothnia is also included. Practical work in the area is carried out in cooperation between the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia and the City of Oulu. Pirkanmaa Cultural Bank is a free online service maintained by the City of Tampere that brings together cultural and artistic creators and their on-demand services. The aim of the online service is to increase the employment, visibility and networking of artists, as well as the availability and diverse use of culture. At the moment, the service has 500 cultural and artistic authors and more than 400 on-demand cultural and art services. The user experience of the service has been positive. The results of the art pilots of the Cultural Cell project now in the form of a development story
What is my relationship with nature? What does home mean to me? How can emotions be handled and expressed through art? How can art increase the participation of local residents? Could art be part of our daily lives? What is art? Can anyone make art? Could art be used as a means of development? For example, these questions were considered and the answers to them were sought in the recently completed Culture Cell project and its art pilots. In 2023, six art pilots were carried out in Northern Ostrobothnia to meet the development needs of municipalities. They had a total of 97 workshops and produced 29 artworks and events. The pilots were carried out by 17 artists and nearly 3,000 local residents participated. Videos were also made for each pilot. All the results of this extensive work have now been compiled into a development story using a story map.
