Live and Joy in cooperation in cooperation with Art Pilots in the Municipalities of Northern Ostrobothnia
‘Where do I come from? What kind of landscape has your life path twisted? What are your swaying memories and where do they relate?’ These issues, among other things, are being worked on through art together in cooperation in cooperation with local residents in the art pilots carried out in the project of the Cultural Cell of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region at the end of the year.
There are six art pilots in total. They will be implemented in the municipalities of Northern Ostrobothnia, in cooperation in cooperation with 3-6 municipalities participating in one pilot. All pilots have in common inclusiveness, experientialism and experimentality. The themes to be discussed include nature and sustainability, everyday environments and the home region. Various art methods and different art practices are used. Each pilot results in a concrete work or experience. All pilots are community-based.
The effectiveness of the pilots extends to many levels. Local residents get art as part of their everyday life and environment, as well as the opportunity to participate in art activities themselves. Cooperation between municipalities is intensified in the production of cultural services and the acquisition of art, and expertise is strengthened in the utilisation of art as part of development work. For artists, the pilots offer new job opportunities and experience.
All art pilots and the works created in them will be carried out during this year.
