What is your swaying memory from the Oulujoki valley? Art Pilot Captures Your Memories as Emotional Photography
Art pilot in Vaala, Utajärvi and Muhos Art documentation – the culture of swinging in the Oulujoki valley before and now offers residents the opportunity to remember their own history of swinging, the feelings of falling in love and falling in love experienced at the time, and the places of swinging.

Väisänen is a wide-ranging artist who loves his work. In her work, she strives to lower the threshold for experiencing and doing art and culture, and thus create opportunities for participation and well-being through art.
In the art pilot, Väisänen introduces himself to the workshops of Muhos, Utajärvi and Vaala during June-July. All those who wish to participate in the workshops are welcome. Tasks art exercises are easy and suitable for everyone. On the last day of the work, which lasts about a week, emotional photographs are taken at the swinging places that are important to them. Large photographic prints are displayed in locations where they can be encountered by anyone passing by. The photographers get their own picture.
Martu Väisänen can meet at UntoRock in Utajärvi on 17 June, at LempiFest in Muhos on 21 June and at Vaala Film Festival in Vaala Valentin on 1 July. You can register for the workshops directly to the artist at the events, by e-mail or by phone, as well as via the registration form published on the project's website and social media channels. The workshops will be held in Romerisal in Utajärvi in week 26, in Muhos in August and in Vaala in August. Art documentation – the culture of swinging in the Oulujoki valley before and now is one of the six art pilots to be carried out in the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Council's Cultural Cell project at the end of the year. All pilots have in common inclusiveness, experientialism and experimentality. The themes to be discussed include nature and sustainability, everyday environments and the home region. Various art methods and different art practices are used. Each pilot results in a concrete work or experience. All pilots are community-based.
