Smart Specialisation Partnerships in Northern Ostrobothnia

Northern Ostrobothnia is involved in nine Smart Specialisation Partnerships operating on two thematic platforms (industrial modernisation and Agrifood). The thematic platforms are divided into sub-themes, i.e. partnerships.  In a partnership, different European regions work together to develop a specific theme. The partnership brings together regions and stakeholders' know-how to promote the development and business opportunities of the member regions. Interregional cooperation aims to complement and develop interregional cooperation and networking. Partnership-related areas (provinces in Finland), but development and cooperation are carried out by RDI actors, companies, clusters in the member region.
