Regional Programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2022-2025
The preparation of the provincial programme 2022-2025 started with the start of new programming by the Provincial Government in October 2020. The programme's contents and choices were prepared with a phenomenon-based approach, an inclusive process involving numerous actors, organisations, municipalities and residents of Northern Ostrobothnia. The environmental impact assessment of the regional programme has been carried out as part of the preparation process as part of the Union's own work. The Regional Council approved the Regional Programme for Northern Ostrobothnia 2022-2025 in December 2021.
Northern Ostrobothnia is facing new challenges in many ways. The forces of change that affect the world, Finland and our region challenge us all. In the regional programme, we are seeking new thinking for regional and national regional development. The programme focuses on phenomena and themes that are important for the development of Northern Ostrobothnia. With this, we aim to be flexible, proactive and quick to react to changes in the operating environment. The Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia challenges all actors to innovate and implement the objectives of the programme. Working together creates the conditions for sustainable partnerships.
