Battery education and project map in Northern Finland
The main objective of the Interreg Battery Region project is to produce a regional report on the skills and training needs of the battery industry and on training opportunities in Northern Finland and Sweden. As a result of this work, training and project maps for the battery sector will be published. Education maps cover all levels of education in Finland; Second-degree basic, vocational, polytechnic and university degrees. The areas of training to be considered for core and support activities in the battery sector are:
- Battery technology
- Automotive and mechanical engineering
- Energy and Environmental Engineering
- Geosciences and Mining Engineering
- Chemical and Process Engineering
- Service and transport logistics
- Cleaning and real estate services
- Electrical and Automation Engineering
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
- Production and business
Training maps
There are two training maps; the search for regional training and the examination of the educational offer of local educational institutions.
Project map
The project map contains regional training, research and employment projects in the battery sector, as well as learning and research environments operating with EU and national regional funding. The list can be found the Project Listing Page. National projects receiving national funding have been excluded from the consolidation.
