The Regional Assembly elected the members and chairmen of the the Board of the Regional Assembly for 2025-2029 at its meeting on 8 September 2025.
The role of the the Board of the Regional Assembly Treaty Under Paragraph 19, it is necessary to protect the interests of the joint municipal authority, to represent the joint municipal authority and to conclude contracts on its behalf. The duties of the the Board of the Regional Assembly are defined in more detail the Rules of Procedure.
The Regional Assembly of the Regional Assembly of Oulu Region has 13 members. The composition of the county government corresponds to the political balance of power of the county based on the result of the municipal elections.
