The purpose of the POPNUVA – Involving and influencing young people project was to strengthen young people’s opportunities to participate and influence and to develop the operating model and working methods of the youth advocacy body, the Youth Council of the Province of Northern Ostrobothnia. The project promoted the participation of young people in the planning and development of the county.
The project was managed by the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia and implemented by the municipality of Tyrnävä. The project will run from 1 September 2020 to 31 December 2022. The project was funded by a state grant from the Regional State Administrative Agency for Northern Finland. The total budget of the project is EUR 36 000.
