EURA 2014 - e-services for applicants and promoters of EU Structural Funds projects in the 2014-2020 programming period

EURA 2014 is an e-service for managing projects co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the 2014-2020 programming period.

EURA 2014 services handle the submission and processing of project applications, payment applications, follow-up forms and final reports, as well as the preparation and reception of decisions related to project management. The data generated in connection with electronic project management is used to compile reporting data describing the implementation of the Finnish Structural Funds for both national purposes and the European Commission.

The service is owned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The development and maintenance of the service is partly funded by Finland's Sustainable Growth and Jobs 2014-2020 structural fund programme.

Strong authentication is required to use the EURA 2014 e-service. EURA 2014's e-services will be logged in from the beginning of 2020 using the Suomi.fi identification system of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (formerly the Population Register Centre). Suomi.fi identification is a common identification service for public administration e-services. The service is used in the electronic e-services of the state and municipalities, where the user must be reliably identified.

The strong authentication methods provided by Suomi.fi identification, which can be used to log in to the EURA 2014 service as of 2 January 2020 (with old Katso identifiers, the use of the service is no longer possible in 2020):

  • Personal banking credentials
  • mobile certificate
  • certificate card

For more information on changes in the identification and authorisation of the EURA 2014 online service, please contact the funding authority and the Structural Funds website https://www.rakennerahastot.fi under the heading ‘E-services’.
