The European Union has a wide range of funding channels. Finding the right funding channel and applying can be challenging. If necessary, you can ask for advice through the EU Info Point. However, the first step is to consult the national financial advice and its pages. The EU Financial Advice website can be found at: e-Financial Advice.fi.
Through the Regional Council of Northern Ostrobothnia, you can apply for JTF, ESF+ and ERDF funding for various development projects. You can find more detailed information about these forms of funding here. Applicants may be research and training organisations, business development organisations, publicly owned technology and competence centres, municipalities and other public bodies, foundations and associations.
International cross-border cooperation projects are eligible for funding under three different programmes: Interreg Aurora, Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) and Baltic Sea. You can find more information about these programs here.
