POPkulta Network
In Northern Ostrobothnia, cultural well-being is developed through network cooperation. All parties interested in the well-being effects of culture and art and their promotion are welcome to the POPkulta network. The activities are carried out on a low-threshold basis and are based on multidisciplinary approaches, openness and cooperation. We organise joint network meetings about four times a year.
The aim of the POPkulta network is to:
- Promote the realisation of the cultural rights of Northern Ostrobothnians so that art and culture are part of a good life at every stage of it.
- To make art and culture a systematic part of the promotion of well-being and health, as well as social and health services.
- Finds new kinds of solutions, forms of cooperation and funding models for the organisation and implementation of activities.
- Act in such a way that the well-being effects of art and culture, development work and good practices are known and recognised.
The POPkulta network is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia Welfare Area's Pohteen Thematic Network for Welfare and Health Promotion and a member of the Welfare Cooperation Group. in cooperation with Pohte, development work is carried out in a multi-actor manner in extensive cooperation. The operations are guided by a human-centered concept of well-being. As a network, we support the development of the operations of the Wellbeing Services County of Northern Ostrobothnia, as well as the construction of connecting platforms, services and service paths from the perspective of cultural well-being.
The POPkulta network is one of the regional networks of the national contact point for cultural well-being in Taikusydä.
